We ran the GEO audit on ourselves first: readiness 66 → 85 in a day
We ordered the same full GEO audit we sell for our own site, snaips.com. The audit’s current base price is €129 for 4 pages. The report gave 22 recommendations and measured the site's AI readiness at 66.0 / 100.
We gave the report's agent-tasks.md file to ChatGPT's Codex. Codex made the fixes in about 15–20 minutes: it asked a few clarifying questions, which we answered, and did the rest on its own.
The re-audit checked the same pages, the same recommendations and the same AI questions as the original report, with the same scoring. Readiness was now 84.9 / 100. Here is what changed, what has not changed yet, and why.
The original audit found
- The site opened at two addresses, with and without www.
- The pricing page's heading hierarchy was broken.
- The machine-readable data held an address and a name the pages' text did not show.
- The company description did not link to our official profiles.
- ChatGPT described Snaips as a part-time IT and software partner, and Gemini confused the name with the SNIPES clothing chain.
The re-audit confirmed
- The site now redirects to one address.
- The pricing page's heading hierarchy is intact.
- The machine-readable data matches the pages' visible text.
- The company description now links to our official profiles.
- ChatGPT now describes Snaips as an AI, automation and software development service, and Gemini recognises Snaips as snaips.com's service for small and medium-sized businesses and cites the site.
Readiness areas before and now
Both scored the same way: the original report on 22 October 2026, the re-audit on 23 October 2026.
What was still open in the re-audit
Six recommendations are still open: short self-contained answers on the Pricing and About pages, links to our official profiles in the About page's machine-readable data, the business's name and what it does in one clear sentence on the homepage, facts AI tells about us that our pages do not, the typical jobs of our services, and a description of our custom work. Pricing and timeline improved but do not yet cover every service. One recommendation no longer applies, because we removed the service it concerned from the pages, and one was not checked.
The re-audit also found four new findings: machine-readable data on a service and the free preview that the pages' text does not show, and two general claims on the About page. They are in the re-audit's instructions for the next round of fixes.
In the re-audit on 23 October 2026, AI recommendations did not change: no answer to the six buyer questions recommended Snaips yet. AI services read pages at their own pace, and nobody can promise a place in their answers. That is why the report shows recommendations apart from readiness, which the site's owner can fix.
A single re-asking is directional, because AI answers vary from one asking to the next.
Snaips appeared in Google’s AI answer
For the Finnish search “geo tutkimus hinta webbisaitille”, Google’s AI Overview mentioned Snaips as an example of a GEO service provider and used snaips.com as a source. This follow-up observation came after the re-audit on 23 October, when none of the answers to the six tested buyer questions recommended Snaips.
It’s exciting to see a new tool working in practice as intended: we help businesses appear in AI search, and now our own service has appeared in Google’s AI answer too.
